Measuring Impact in 2026

LENS will continue toward realizing its mission in 2026. LENS will keep expanding its partnerships with Public Safety Officers & Dispatchers, as we have received substantial interest from agencies across the country about partnering to prevent traffic accidents. 

There are three core metrics to measure the progress of the LENS mission:

• Pre-accidents detected 

• Accidents Prevented 

• Lives Saved

Accordingly, our goals for 2026 are: 

• 20,000 Pre-accidents Detected (doubling twice from 5,360 in 2025)

• 2,000 Accidents Prevented (doubling from 1,072 in 2025)

• 10 Lives Saved

Growth of LENS Platform

As part of achieving the above goals, LENS will be making the following advances: 

• Increase Partnerships with Public Safety Agencies: 

  • Expand partnerships with Public Safety Agencies across the country to prevent accidents and save lives 

• Tripling Pre-Accident Types: 

  • LENS 1.0 Specific AI Model will triple the number of types of pre-accidents

• Launching The LENS Platform Developer Center: 

  • Releasing the first LENS Developer Center for third-party developers

The LENS North Star

In 2026, the LENS North Star will remain the same — helping Public Safety Officers to save lives. 

One of the keys to unlocking growth is amplifying the creative energies of third-party developers — designing new applications on the LENS Platform — who will help expand the reach and potential of LENS. This, in turn, will further enhance the ability of Public Safety Officers to prevent accidents and save lives. 

And the most important component in furthering the LENS mission to end traffic accidents is the incredible Public Safety Officers with whom we work. As LENS expands its partnerships across the country, this will mean more Public Safety Officers will be partnering with LENS to prevent even more accidents and save even more lives in 2026.
